Inspired by my own experiences, this book takes you on a poignant journey through the lives of factory workers in 1990s Nepal, battling for their rights in an era of sweeping economic and social change. It’s a story of resilience, solidarity, and the fight for dignity told through the eyes of characters who reflect the struggles of many yet are deeply personal to me.

The lessons I learned—about courage, community, and the power of collective action—are ones I carry with me every day, and I believe they will resonate with you, too.

Why I Wrote This Book

As someone who has navigated dual cultural identities and witnessed firsthand the impact of systemic inequities, I felt compelled to share this story. It is my way of honoring the unsung heroes—workers, neighbors, and friends—whose lives have taught me the true meaning of resilience and hope.
